Founder/Viticulturist Daniel M. Rodrigues has 30+ years experience in production agriculture. With a B.S. in Agricultural Science from CSU, Fresno and a M.S. in Agriculture with a Specialization in Crop Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, Dan has also been a staff lecturer in the Viticulture Department at Cal Poly-SLO for over fifteen years. After working with California Ag Quest for 20 years as the Central Coast Viticulturist, Dan acquired and re-named the company Vina Quest LLC in 2014. Dan is involved in the Central Coast wine industry serving on the Agriculture Liaison Advisory Board for San Luis Obispo County, as a reviewer for the American Vineyard Foundation, and a past President of the Central Coast Wine Growers Association.
A team of Viticulturists and Pest Control Advisors at Vina Quest provide the highest level of advice, data and support to our clients, allowing them to make informed decisions regarding their vineyard's needs. Our attention to detail and quality control is primary, along with our long-term relationships with vintners and growers on the Central Coast.
